The average price for a gallon of gasoline declined in the past week in the Bay Area’s three largest cities, providing a sliver of relief for drivers after weeks of increases.
“Finally some relief! For the first time in nine weeks, gasoline prices have fallen, following a broad sell-off in oil markets last week,” Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy, said in a release.
