A longtime Republican aide has been tapped by the Texas governor to fill the open spot on the state’s environmental protection agency.
Bobby Janecka began his six-year term Monday on the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality’s board of commissioners. He will need to be confirmed by the Texas Senate next year.
