After PG&E’s failures, Kamala Harris introduces bill targeting bankrupt utilities’ executive bonuses

Citing “corporate negligence and misplaced priorities,” Sen. Kamala Harris is introducing legislation Wednesday to ban bonuses for executives of bankrupt energy utility companies.

Harris’ bill would ensure that publicly-traded utilities going through bankruptcy cannot reward their executives with bonuses or trips, reported the San Francisco Chronicle.
