Albuquerque energy company awarded contract to improve sustainability of Diné College buildings

Yearout Energy plans to spend the next year and a half working on improving the sustainability of buildings at Diné College, which serves the Navajo Nation.

The Albuquerque-based company was awarded a $19.9 million contract for the work at Diné College’s Shiprock and Tsaile, Arizona campuses. The work will entail upgrading light fixtures to LED technology, installing a solar photovoltaic system, space cooling, upgrading ventilation and more.
