Albuquerque joins Cities Race to Zero campaign, promises to cut emissions in Covid-19 recovery

The city of Albuquerque announced Friday it is joining the Cities Race to Zero campaign, which has a focus on a “decarbonized economy” future – and ahead of the United Nations Climate Change Conference being held in Glasgow in November.

“We know that the time to act on climate change is now,” Mayor Tim Keller said in a prepared statement. “We’re taking big leaps toward a more sustainable city for our kids and future generations.”
