American Lung Association ranks Pittsburgh as nation’s 8th worst in air quality

The American Lung Association has ranked Pittsburgh as the 8th worst in the country for air quality according to an annual report from the organization.

While Pittsburgh improved slightly from last year’s placement of 7th worst in the nation, the city remains the only one east of the Mississippi River to be in the top 25 cities with the worst air quality nationwide the ALA said.
