Automakers call on pressed NC regulators to act quickly on Duke Energy’s electric-vehicle pilot

Eight automakers and their industry organizations are calling on already strained N.C. regulators to “act with a sense of urgency” to approve the $76 million electric-vehicle charging pilot programs that Duke Energy Corp. proposed in March. The group includes General Motors Co. (NYSE: GM), Ford Motor Co. (NYSE: F), Daimler AG, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (NYSE: FCAU), Honda Motor Co. (NYSE: HMC), Hyundai Motor Co., the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers and the Association of Global Automakers.
