Bishop Museum receives $100K grant to fund energy efficiency project

Bishop Museum has received a $100,000 grant that will be used to increase energy efficiency.

The museum announced this week that it is a recipient of a Frankenthaler Climate Initiative grant, which is provided by the Helen Frankenthaler Foundation to fund environmental sustainability at cultural institutions.

Bishop Museum will use the funding to install insulated windows in its Pauahi Building, which is home to four collections that feature entomological documents, visual arts objects and books.…
