The fire at Intercontinental Terminals Company LLC’s Deer Park tank farm, at 1943 Independence Parkway near Houston, remains extinguished, but a new warning has been announced.

Report: cost of closing Beaver County nuclear assets will top $900 million

It’s going to cost FirstEnergy Solutions more than $900 million to decommission its assets in Beaver County, according to a report from the Beaver County Times.

According to the report, FirstEnergy Corp. (NYSE:FE) is attempting to emerge from bankruptcy, separate from FirstEnergy Solutions and create a new company, in an attempt to free itself from any liabilities for FirstEnergy Solutions.
