Browns Summit to be home to a 61-acre solar farm

A 61-acre tract of land in Guilford County is about to go solar. Solar construction, management and storage firm Cypress Creek Renewables received county planning board approval last month to build a solar farm in Browns Summit.

No approval by the Guilford Board of County Commissioners is required.
