A Georgia-based company has sued an Alabama contractor over the 2016 spill that leaked thousands of gallons of gasoline into Shelby County.
Colonial Pipeline Co. is suing Birmingham-based Ceco Pipeline Services for the 250,000-gallon spill, which shut down a major pipeline for weeks and threatened the supply of gasoline along the East Coast.
