Congressman Carter wants Georgia excluded from offshore energy plans

Coastal Georgia’s congressman has come off the fence when it comes to offshore energy exploration.

After taking a wait-and-see approach since the Trump administration announced plans last year to conduct seismic testing and drilling for oil and natural gas off the East Coast, U.S. Rep. Buddy Carter, R-Pooler, is asking that Georgia be excluded from the proposal.
