San Antonio’s CPS Energy says it will not cut power to customers’ homes or businesses while the city determines its plan of action for fighting coronavirus.
At the behest of city council and Mayor Ron Nirenberg, the city-owned utility said it has suspended energy cutoffs effective immediately. The policy is in place until further notice, a CPS spokesperson said.
