DEP levies record $30M fine for Beaver County pipeline blast in 2018

The owners of the Revolution Pipeline that slipped in a landslide and then caused a fire in a Center Township neighborhood in September 2018 have been handed a $30.6 million civil penalty for violations by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, which said it’s one of the largest ever civil penalties in Pennsylvania.
