Centrica PLC, the British parent company of Houston-based Direct Energy, plans to cut another 20 local jobs in the coming weeks.
That’s in addition to the 54 job cuts Centrica U.S. Holdings Inc. previously disclosed, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act letter sent to the Texas Workforce Commission. The job cuts are occurring at 12 Greenway Plaza, suite 250, which is the corporate headquarters for Direct Energy and its residential energy division.
