Duke Energy makes renewables deal with AT&T

Duke Energy Renewables says AT&T Corp. has signed a virtual power-purchase agreement for 160 megawatts of capacity from the 350-megawatt Frontier II Windpower project now under construction in Oklahoma.

Duke says AT&T (NYSE: T) signed a 15-year agreement. The project was announced in July, when Ball Corp. (NYSE: BLL) agreed to a similar contract for 161 megawatts of the project.
