Duke Energy Carolinas is seeking regulatory approval to start on two projects it was awarded in the first round of competitive bids for new solar construction in the Carolinas.
Duke filed last week an application for the 25-megawatt Gaston Solar project in Bessamer City. In late November, it filed the application for the 69-megawatt Maiden Creek Solar project in Maiden.
