DuPont to buy water filtration product line for $110M

DuPont agreed to buy a water filtration product line from Evoqua Water Technologies, as the Wilmington-based company seeks to bolster its water purification capabilities.

In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Pittsburgh-based Evoqua (NYSE: AQUA) said DuPont will pay $110 million for its Memcor product line, which uses membrane technology to purify water.
