El Dorado, Placer, Yolo counties could see planned blackouts this week

Another week, another potential round of planned PG&E shutoffs to hit Northern California.

The San Francisco-based utility has warned customers of a potential planned blackout in 25 counties in the North Bay, East Bay, Peninsula North Valley and Sierra foothills starting late Tuesday night that could affect more than 300,000 customers, equivalent to more than 900,000 people.
