ERCOT says Texas grid OK heading into fall

Texas’ grid regulator believes the state will have enough power to see it through the last three months of the year without an energy emergency.

The Electric Reliability Council of Texas reported Monday that there should be more than enough power plants online this coming fall and winter to meet peak demand. ERCOT manages the electric grid for 90 percent of the state, including San Antonio.
