Ethane pipeline’s capacity could be increased

The capacity of an existing pipeline that brings ethane from southwestern Pennsylvania to the Gulf Coast could be expanded.

ATEX is a 1,200-mile pipeline that brings ethane from the Marcellus and Utica shales to the Mont Belvieu complex on the Gulf Coast in Texas. The pipeline starts in Washington County, Pa.
