An energy-storage company looking to commercialize its electric-vehicle technology is moving from South Boston to Wakefield with the help of state and local tax breaks. “Boston is right on the threshold of being able to be a hotbed of battery and clean energy technology, especially in the (electric vehicle) renaissance that is happening right now… the (commercial real estate) market is a major, major headwind for those companies,” its founder said.
