Faith programs led to energy enterprise

When people think of Father Baker and the OLV Campus in Lackawanna, they generally focus on the Basilica, human service programs and troubled youth.

But for more than 100 years, energy creation and distribution has been a part of Our Lady of Victory Homes of Charity, which rebranded last summer as OLV Charities.

It started when Father Nelson Baker had a hunch and drilled for natural gas at the campus. And found it.
