Rancho Cordova-based solar array operations and maintenance company SunSystem Technology has been acquired by NovaSource Power Services of Austin, Texas.
Derek Chase, CEO and founder of SunSystem, declined to disclose the terms of the deal. SunSystem has 19 locations in more than 10 states.
The company performed 50,000 service calls last year to check and maintain solar photovoltaic systems, and that pace will likely increase as more solar power is deployed, Chase said.
