Hawaii Energy launches new electric vehicle charging incentive program

Hawaii Energy recently launched a new Electric Vehicle Charging Station (EVCS) program in an effort to support the state’s EV charging structure, the local nonprofit announced Monday.

The state-funded project will award a total of $400,000 in rebates for EVCS installation projects completed between Jan. 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021, on behalf of the Hawaii Public Utilities Commission.
