A Chilean company building a $6 billion renewable fuels plant in Matagorda County near the Texas Gulf Coast is contemplating siting its next project about 50 miles southwest of Fort Worth. The proposed facility would use wind or solar power to make hydrogen via electrolysis, which in turn would be transformed into renewable gasoline and other fuels that burn with zero greenhouse gas emissions.
