Houston-based Parker Drilling Co. has finally appointed a new CEO after going without one for nearly the entire first quarter.
Sandy Esslemont has taken up the top executive mantle, filling a vacancy left when the former CEO Gary Rich retired at the end of 2019, according to a press release. Esslemont was previously CEO at Houston-based Abrado, which he helped found in 2009.
