JAX LNG announces expansion of Northeast Florida facility

One of Jacksonville’s liquefied natural gas leaders announced its intention to triple its liquefaction abilities by the first quarter of next year.

JAX LNG announced last week that it will increase its liquefaction capabilities to 360,000 gallons per day and double its storage capabilities to 4 million gallons. The facility is being constructed by Texas-based Salof Ltd.

JAX LNG is jointly owned by Pivotal LNG and NorthStar Midstream and has maintained a Jacksonville presence since 2018.
