JEA announced Tuesday press conference after board member calls for CEO’s termination

A JEA board member plans to propose that CEO Aaron Zahn be removed from his position at Tuesday’s board meeting.

The termination would be “for convenience,” board member Henry Brown said in a letter to Zahn: That means that Zahn would be eligible to receive a lump sum payment open to 20 weeks of his salary.

Zahn, who is the highest paid government employee in the city, makes $520,000 a year as base salary, putting the payout at 200,000. He would also be fully vested in any contributions made…
