After Mayor Lenny Curry called for JEA to stop its intent to negotiate process, the utility’s board has scheduled a meeting for Christmas Eve morning.
There is no agenda published for the 9 a.m. emergency meeting, which will be held at JEA’s headquarters.
This morning, Curry said that he would be asking the JEA Chairwoman April Green to “call a meeting and take the sale of JEA off the table.”
