Kinder Morgan increases dividend less than planned, reports nearly $1B impairment

Houston-based midstream company Kinder Morgan Inc. (NYSE: KMI) is raising its dividend, while many companies these days have been slashing or suspending theirs.

The first-quarter 2020 dividend of 26.25 per share is payable on May 15 to common stockholders of record as of the close of business on May 4, according to an April 22 press release.
