Dallas-based Kosmos Energy Ltd. (NYSE: KOS) has bought some international assets from Houston-based Occidental Petroleum Corp.
Occidental Petroleum Corp. (NYSE: OXY) has sold Kosmos some of its interests in two Ghana offshore fields it acquired as part of its Anadarko acquisition in 2019. The deal was for $550.6 million and closed Oct. 13. The deal increased Kosmos’ interest in the Jubilee Unit Area from 24.1% to 42.1% and its interest in the Ten fields from 17% to 28.1%.
