Legislature passes reforms to energy program that came under fire

The Missouri Legislature on Wednesday passed reforms to an energy program that had been criticized as being ripe for abuse.

The legislation, from Rep. Bruce DeGroot, R-Ellisville, would have the state’s Division of Finance conduct examinations of local Property Assessed Clean Energy boards every two years.
