Albemarle Corp.’s board of directors has appointed director Kent Masters Jr. as chairman and CEO to replace Luke Kissam, who is stepping down for health reasons.
Kissam will continue at Albemarle in an advisory capacity until he retires in June. Kissam will remain on the board, though he will give up his chairman role. He will stand for reelection to the board at Albemarle’s shareholder meeting on May 5.
