Long-delayed, ultra-green apartment project heads for 2020 opening

For the development of Second + Delaware, an environmentally friendly apartment complex in the River Market, a year has made all the difference.

The project, a $90 million-plus, 276-unit apartment complex, was designed to be the largest structure in the world to achieve Passive House energy-efficiency standards, which have been employed in Europe for 20 years and exceed LEED Platinum requirements.
