France-based Engie SA reached a power supply deal with Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq: MSFT) on two assets in Texas.
The two power production farms are Las Lomas Wind and Anson Solar Center, each of which will produce up to 200 megawatts of power, according to a news release. Microsoft has committed to purchase 145 megawatts from Las Lomas and 85 megawatts from Anson Solar.
Engie expects both projects to come online in January 2021, it said in the release.
