National Carbon Technologies announced Tuesday it acquired Greenwood Village, Colo.-based Cool Planet’s biocarbon business, including over 50 patents for biocarbon production and technologies.
Oakdale, Minn.-based National Carbon produces renewable, low-cost carbon products for metals production, agriculture, renewable energy and water purification. The patents NCT acquired from Cool Planet will allow for product enhancements, including the use of performance-enhancing microbes and additives.
