Offshore drilling co. to lay off employees on shut-in rig

Enterprise Offshore Drilling, an offshore rig operator based in Houston, has given notice that it will have to lay off employees as one of the rigs it operates shuts down.

The company provides the drilling crew for DD 202, an offshore drilling rig owned by Enven Energy Corp.
