Pacific Ethanol reports another reprieve on debt payment

Pacific Ethanol Inc. reported after markets closed on Monday that it has negotiated terms with lenders for the extension of its debt.

A debt payment, which has been delayed by the Sacramento-based company several times, had come due on Sunday.

Pacific Ethanol (NYSE: PEIX) is the Sacramento region’s largest publicly traded company by revenue.
