PGE demolishes Boardman coal plant’s stack, boiler; see the video here

It was no whale, but it was still a pretty cool Oregon blast.

With precisely placed explosives, Portland General Electric brought down the 656-foot-tall stack and boiler at the shuttered Boardman coal plant in a matter of seconds Thursday morning.
