PG&E mobilizes to shut down power again, affecting 3 Bay Area counties

Pacific Gas and Electric is again moving to turn off the power to swaths of Northern California.

Officials began notifying more than 200,000 customer accounts across 16 counties that their power may be preemptively shut off at some time during the week as the result of weather conditions that could stoke wildfires. Exact days and times of power outages have yet to be provided.

In the Bay Area, the counties on the list were San Mateo, Napa and Sonoma. Specifically, these will include the following…
