Pittsburgh-based Montauk Energy has named Sean McClain as CEO, replacing longtime CEO Marty Ryan who is leaving the company at the end of the month.
McClain, 44, is no stranger to Montauk or the Pittsburgh region. He was CFO and CIO at Montauk Energy and before that he worked for Bayer AG, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Arthur Anderson LLP. He’s a certified public accountant and has a bachelor’s degree from Saint Vincent College and an MBA from Robert Morris University.
