Port Commission authorizes adding cranes at terminal, moving forward on Houston Ship Channel expansion work

The Port Commission of the Port of Houston Authority is adding new cranes at the Bayport Container Terminal and making progress on its effort to deepen and widen the Houston Ship Channel.

On Sept. 24, the commission approved a contract for three new Neopanamax electric cranes for the Bayport Container Terminal at 12621 Port Road, according to a Sept. 26 press release.
