Renewable energy group hires former gubernatorial candidate

Former Democratic gubernatorial candidate Josh Svaty has been hired by a renewable energy group.

The Kansas Power Alliance announced that it has hired Svaty as a senior advisor for agriculture and intergovernmental affairs. He’ll join his wife, Kimberly, on the staff. She has worked 15 years advocating for wind and solar energy.
