Scottsdale company pauses production at Iowa plant amid Covid-19 outbreak

TPI Composites Inc., a global manufacturer of composite wind blades used in wind power generation, has paused production at its plant in Newton, Iowa, amid a growing number of Covid-19 cases among its employees.

In a regulatory filing Thursday, Scottsdale-based TPI (Nasdaq: TPIC) said 28 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed at the Newton facility last week, bringing the total number of cases to 36.
