Among the 67 counties in Pennsylvania, 33 produced natural gas in 2018, helping to push statewide production up by 14.2 percent over 2017.

Overall, more than 6.12 billion McF of natural gas were produced in the state last year.
Through the first six months of 2019, production was 3.32 billion McF, up 14.6 percent from the 2.9 billion McF produced in the first half of 2018.
