Shell’s post-Hurricane Ida offshore repairs to take months, stalling oil production

A transfer station in the Gulf known as West Delta-143 received “significant structural damage” during the hurricane in late August. Oil and gas produced at multiple platforms in the Mars corridor of the Gulf flows through WD-143, which then sends the products to onshore terminals.
