Southern California Gas Co. said it will suspend service disconnections indefinitely to any customers who are having a hard time paying their bill, especially due to the effects of the coronavirus outbreak.
Los Angeles-based SoCalGas, which has 21.8 million customers in Central and Southern California, said the policy will remain in effect until further notice.
