State AG says 96-year-old Williamsville scientist lured investors

Kean Stimm, a 96-year-old scientist from Williamsville and CEO of a wind turbine company, was issued a restraining order from a state court to no longer seek investors for one of his projects.

State Attorney General Letitia James said Stimm, chairman and CEO of Kean Wind Turbines, made assurances to her office at the outset of an investigation that it would no longer seek investments and stop using investor money for personal expenses.
