The city of Roseville is being asked by the California Department of Water Resources to site two emergency electric generating units at Roseville Energy Park, home to the city’s municipal utility.
The units are part of the state’s effort to quickly expand electric generation due to a drought that could see the state short 3,500 megawatts during extreme weather conditions.
